Grants
SEAI One Stop Shop, registered provider.
We're a fully registered SEAI One Stop Shop. We apply for your grants and take the amount straight off your bill, so you pay the balance, not the full price up front.
The basics
How the grants work
The SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) is the State body that funds home energy upgrades. It pays a fixed grant for each measure (a heat pump, attic insulation, solar panels and so on), and for most insulation measures the amount depends on the type of house you have.
As a registered One Stop Shop, we carry out the whole upgrade under the SEAI grant scheme. We run the home energy assessment, handle the grant applications, carry out the works and see the project through to completion. Every home retrofit we work on is brought up to a minimum BER (Building Energy Rating, the A-to-G label on every Irish home) of B2.
-
A fixed grant per measure
SEAI sets a grant for each upgrade, from heat pumps to attic insulation. Add the measures your home needs and the grants add up.
-
Insulation set by house type
For most insulation, the bigger the house the higher the grant, so a detached home gets more than an apartment.
-
No forms, no waiting
You don't fill in a single SEAI form or wait on a refund. The grant comes to us and we take it straight off your invoice.
What's available
One Stop Shop measures and grant amounts
Insulation grants are set by house type: the bigger the house, the more there is to insulate, so the grant is higher. Heat pump, solar and ventilation grants are set amounts.

Solar PV (photovoltaic) panels are capped at a total grant of €1,800. The amount you get depends on your house type and what's installed. We confirm exactly what your home qualifies for during the survey. Grant amounts are provided by the Government of Ireland through the SEAI and were accurate as of February 2026.
Eligibility
Am I eligible?
The SEAI scheme is open to homeowners and non-corporate landlords whose home meets a few conditions.
- The home was built and occupied before 2011.
- It has a current BER of B3 or lower, and the works bring it up to at least B2, with an improvement of 100 kWh/m²/year or better on the BER primary energy value.
- You haven't already claimed grants for the same upgrades.
Approved Housing Bodies can use the scheme too, though the grant amounts differ. If you're not sure where your home stands, that's fine. We check exactly what you qualify for during the survey.
The One Stop Shop
How we handle the grants for you
You don't need to fill in a single SEAI form. As a registered One Stop Shop, working in partnership with REIL (an SEAI-registered provider), we manage the whole grant process from start to finish:
- We survey the house and take a starting BER.
- We put together a plan and a fixed price, with the grant amounts already deducted so you can see your real cost.
- We submit the grant applications to SEAI and manage the approvals.
- We carry out the works and have them signed off to SEAI standards.
- We complete a final BER so your improved rating is on record.
