Grants
We offer full one stop shop services. We apply for your grants and take the amount straight off your bill, so you pay the balance, not the full price up front.
The basics
The SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) is the State body that funds home energy upgrades. It pays a fixed grant for each measure (a heat pump, attic insulation, solar panels and so on), and for most insulation measures the amount depends on the type of house you have.
Offering one stop shop services, we carry out the whole upgrade under the SEAI grant scheme. We run the home energy assessment, handle the grant applications, carry out the works and see the project through to completion. Every home retrofit we work on is brought up to a minimum BER (Building Energy Rating, the A-to-G label on every Irish home) of B2.
SEAI sets a grant for each upgrade, from heat pumps to attic insulation. Add the measures your home needs and the grants add up.
For most insulation, the bigger the house the higher the grant, so a detached home gets more than an apartment.
You don't fill in a single SEAI form or wait on a refund. The grant comes to us and we take it straight off your invoice.
What's available
Insulation grants are set by house type: the bigger the house, the more there is to insulate, so the grant is higher. Heat pump, solar and ventilation grants are set amounts.

Solar PV (photovoltaic) panels are capped at a total grant of €1,800. The amount you get depends on your house type and what's installed. We confirm exactly what your home qualifies for during the survey. Grant amounts are provided by the Government of Ireland through the SEAI and were accurate as of February 2026.
What it costs
These are national figures published by the SEAI, covering 1,406 private homes completed through one stop shops in 2025. They are medians, not quotes, but they are the most honest starting point we can give you before we have seen your house.

Source: SEAI, National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme, based on median costs for 1,406 private homes completed through one stop shops between January and December 2025. The median is the mid-point: half of the upgrades cost less, half cost more. Because each column is its own separate median, the grant figure will not subtract exactly from the works cost. These are national figures across all one stop shops, not EnergyHaus prices. We give you a fixed price for your own house after the survey.
Most homes need a few measures together to reach a B2, which is why the totals look the way they do. Tell us about your house and we will come back with the grants and a price.
Eligibility
The SEAI scheme is open to homeowners and non-corporate landlords whose home meets a few conditions.
Approved Housing Bodies can use the scheme too, though the grant amounts differ. If you're not sure where your home stands, that's fine. We check exactly what you qualify for during the survey.
One stop shop services
You don't need to fill in a single SEAI form. Offering one stop shop services in partnership with REIL (an SEAI-registered provider), we manage the whole grant process from start to finish:
