About us
A dedicated local team, with you from survey to sign-off.
EnergyHaus is a home retrofit specialist based in Monasterboice, Co. Louth, working across the North East and Dublin. We design, install and certify home energy upgrades under one roof.
Our story
Decades in Irish construction and energy
EnergyHaus grew out of decades of hands-on work in Irish construction and energy.
Our roots go back to the Lennon Group, a family-led electrical contracting business established in 1981. For over 45 years, Lennon Group has built a reputation for quality workmanship, dependable service, and work that lasts.
As the energy landscape changed, so did what homeowners needed. In 2015, Lennon Group moved into renewable energy with a dedicated Solar PV division, helping customers take control of rising energy costs while cutting their environmental impact.
Before long, customers wanted more than panels on the roof. They wanted warmer homes, lower bills, and someone to guide them through the growing world of home energy upgrades. That demand led to EnergyHaus.
Built on the Lennon Group's decades of construction expertise, EnergyHaus was set up to handle the whole retrofit for homeowners across the North East and Dublin. We bring design, energy upgrades, project management, SEAI grant applications and renewable technology together: one process, handled by one team.
From insulation and ventilation to heat pumps and solar PV, our work comes back to the same thing: homes that are more comfortable, cheaper to run, and ready for what's coming.
Where we work
Across the North East and Dublin
We work with homeowners across Louth, Meath, Dublin, Monaghan and Cavan. Being local matters on a retrofit. We know the housing stock, from 1970s semis to dormer bungalows and city mid-terraces, and we know what works on each.
You stay in your home while we work. A retrofit isn't a knock-down and rebuild; it's a set of measured improvements to the house you already live in.
The work is led by Retrofit Director Chris Bermingham, who manages every project from the first home visit through to the final BER. You'll know who's running your job and how to reach them.
"Good project management on a retrofit isn't just about hitting timelines. It's about understanding the house in front of you, respecting that a family is living in it while we work, and making sure each measure fits the next, so the homeowner ends up with a warmer, cheaper home and no nasty surprises along the way."

SEAI One Stop Shop
We're a registered SEAI One Stop Shop. The SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) is the State body that funds and oversees home energy upgrades. Our One Stop Shop status is what lets us manage your grants and have the works approved on your behalf.
In partnership with REIL
We deliver the One Stop Shop process in partnership with REIL, an SEAI-registered provider. The partnership is what enables EnergyHaus customers to access the full One Stop Shop grant route rather than claiming measure by measure.
Part of the Lennon Group
EnergyHaus is the home-retrofit arm of the Lennon Group. The wider group brings the build experience and back-up of an established local company to every project we take on.
